About me

I'm a product designer and a generalist by nature, based in São Paulo, Brazil. I've worked across a lot of companies and sectors, from Brazil to Europe to New Zealand.

Right now, I'm a design engineer at Luxury Presence, working on the design system that the rest of engineering builds on, including the React components, tokens, and tooling that helps AI agents use them correctly. Before this, I was a senior product designer at Luxury Presence, and before that at MUI working on Material UI, Joy UI, and Base UI.

I'm hooked on learning new things, which makes me pretty adaptable in any context, and honestly that might be my biggest strength. It's pushed me into roles as a PM, manager, researcher, and sometimes even as a developer along the way.

WWDC19 scholarship winner

In 2019, I won an Apple WWDC Scholarship for a project that played around with AI, generative art, and ways to use them together.

Top 5 at EDP University Challenge

Picked by EDP (Portugal's energy company) as one of the 5 best solutions for smart homes and sustainability. The app let users manage their home devices and energy through a smart grid.

Honorable mention for research on virtual reality

Honorable mention for my undergraduate research on virtual reality, and how to use it for exposure therapy and immersive treatments.
